Rescue Companies
RES1CUE
Rescue 1 is stationed in the southwest corner of the district in Station 10. Rescue 1 is shown here in front of Station Two. They stopped by to check on Engine 2's crew. This rig was purchased from the Lego Angeles County disbanded Rescue 3 Company. The truck spent some time in the county shop getting a new paint job, but is now fully equipped and ready for action.
RES2CUE
Rescue 2 is the designated water rescue unit. It is stationed at Station Six on Beachfront Blvd.
RES3CUE
Rescue Three is a 2006 walk around medium duty rescue. It's crew cross staffs Rescue 3A. Rescue 3 is stationed in the Northwest section of the district, at Station One.
RESCUE 3A
Rescue Three Alpha is the Collapse Rescue Unit. It is a tractor trailer filled with all the latest in collapse and USAR equipment. It is cross staffed by the crew of Rescue Three. It is centrally stationed at Station Four.
RESCUE 4
Due to a need for a Rescue Company in the northeast corner of the district, Rescue Four was established in 2010. It is stationed at Station Seventeen (The Science Lab) with HAZ-MAT 1.
RES5CUE
Rescue Five is stationed at Station Five on Main St. It is a Walk-In Heavy Rescue. It is the busiest Rescue Company in the Department. Brickmont Fire Apparatus has been contracted to replace the current Rescue Five. Work has begun on the new rig and hopes are to have it by the end of the year.
RES7CUE
Rescue Seven is stationed at the Reagan International Airport. Shown here on the tarmac with Engine Eleven. Rescue Seven is equipped mainly for downed aircraft rescue.
